The An-132 demonstrator aircraft will perform its maiden flight in March next year. The Antonov state aircraft manufacturing enterprise’s President Oleksandr Kotsiuba announced this at a press briefing at the Antonov serial production plant in Kyiv, the CFTS correspondent reports.

"The aircraft will undergo a series of ground tests until March," the Antonov state aircraft manufacturing enterprise’s spokeswoman Oksana Trofymchuk said.

In April, the aircraft will fly to Saudi Arabia, where it will be presented to the customer and undergo tests in local climatic conditions.

The date of commencement of serial production has not yet been determined. It will be specified in a separate agreement.

As reported, the presentation of the new aircraft took place on Tuesday at a ceremony attended by the president of Ukraine.
