The Kyiv-based JetLines Aviation company has offered an An-26-100 passenger plane for sale on the AirplaneMart online auction website at the price of USD 550,000, the CFTS portal reports.

The An-26-100 aircraft (serial number 5806, registration number UR-26199) was built in 1978. It previously belonged to the Ukrainian air carrier Podillia Avia, which is based at the Khmelnytskyi airport. The Motor Sich airline operated the airport for some time. The An-26-100 aircraft has been in storage at the airport the Khmelnytskyi airport since 2010. The aircraft flew 9,439 hours during its operation.

The Podillia Avia airline performed charter flights from Khmelnytskyi to Rome, Istanbul, and other cities until 2010. The State Property Fund sold 95% of the shares in the company in 2010, following which flights from Khmelnytskyi ceased. JetLines Aviation specializes in sale of new and second-hand aircraft and helicopters and spare parts for them, as well as in creation of VIP interiors and the modernization of aircraft cabins.

The An-26-100 aircraft accommodates up to 43 passengers. The aircraft is equipped with two AI-24 turboprop engines with a 2820 horsepower each. The An-26 was produced in various modifications from 1969 to 1986. One of the prototypes of the aircraft (UR-26194) is in front of the National Aviation University in Kyiv.
