A new charter flight from the Vinnytsia airport to Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt) in October, the airport’s Director Yaroslav Mazurets told the CFTS portal.

The exact launch date is still unknown. Mazurets suggested that it would most likely be launched likely in the middle or end of October.

The Vinnytsia - Sharm el-Sheikh - Vinnytsia flight is being organized by the Ukrainian tour operator Join Up! The frequency of the flights will be once a week on Fridays. Aircraft belonging to the Windrose airline will be operated on the route. The model and capacity of the aircraft is not yet known.

"Everything will depend on the success of the summer program to Turkey," the director of the airport said. Yanair Airline currently flies a Boeing 737-400 aircraft with 168 seats from Vinnytsia to Antalya.

Further details of the charter flight will be announced after all the details are agreed.

In addition to charter flights to Antalya, two regular flights – to Warsaw and Tel Aviv – are currently operated from Vinnytsia. Ukraine International Airlines operates both flights.
