Ernest, an Italian low-cost airline, plans to launch flights from Ukraine to three new destinations in Italy in 2018. The carrier announced this during Borsa Internazionale del Turismo, an international tourism exhibition and fair that is taking place in Milan from February 11 to 13, the CFTS reports.

According to the route map that was presented on Sunday, Bologna will be added to destinations from Kyiv (in addition to the existing Milan-Bergamo and Naples) while Rome and Milan-Malpensa will be added to the destinations from Lviv (in addition to the existing flights to Naples, Venice, and Milan-Bergamo).

In addition to the new flights from Ukraine, Ernest plans to launch flights to Romania and Spain (Ibiza) this year. For example, the low-cost airline will offer flights from Lviv to the resort island with a transfer at the Milan-Bergamo airport.

These flights are not yet available to passengers. The airline plans to publish the exact timetable and begin selling tickets to the new destinations in the coming days.

As reported earlier, Ernest Airlines entered the Ukrainian market in the fall of 2017.
