Regular flights may be launched from the Rivne airport to Lublin, volynpost.com reports. According to the Rivne regional council’s First Deputy Chairman Mykola Drahanchuk, the Ukrainian tour operator, TPG, plans to launch operations on this route together with the Ukrainian airline, Bravo Airways.

According to the Rivne international airport’s Director Ihor Nasyniuk, talks were held with Lublin and two Warsaw airports last week. The local authorities in Lublin have already approved the launching of flights to Rivne.

Two flights are expected to be operated to Lublin per week – on Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets will cost EUR 20-50. The flight will last 40 minutes. In addition, talks have been held with representatives of RDS World Wide Cargo on the possibility of cargo transportation.

A representative of the Polish airport said that the flights could begin before the end of this year.

As reported, the first international flight in a decade was performed from the Rivne airport in early July.
