The Kyiv (Zhuliany) airport received a flight operated by Polish LOT Polish Airlines for the first time at 01:10 (Moscow time) on 26 February.

"From now on, the Warsaw-Kyiv-Warsaw direct flight will be performed six days a week and eventually daily," the CFTS quoted the press service of the airport as saying.

The first flight and the return flight from Kyiv to Warsaw were performed on an Embraer-175 aircraft. It was originally announced that the larger-capacity Embraer-195 aircraft would be operated on the route.

As reported, LOT flights will depart from the Zhuliany airport at 06:00 every day (excluding Saturdays) and from Warsaw at 22:40 (excluding Sundays).

The Warsaw-Kyiv (Zhuliany) route is the Polish airline’s fifth route to Ukraine. LOT also flies to the Boryspil, Lviv, Odesa, and Kharkiv airports.
