The Lufthansa airline has explained how passengers can obtain a discount of EUR 25 (UAH 700) on flights until 31 October this year. The CFTS portal obtained the relevant comments from the press service of the airline.
To obtain a promotional code, potential passengers must fill a form on the promotions web page. The promotional code is valid when purchasing a ticket for Lufthansa flights online. It is possible to book flights with this discount only during the period from 15 June to 31 July this year. The discount applies during purchase of any ticket for travel during the period from 15 June to 31 October 2016. The discount applies only to flights operated by Lufthansa and Lufthansa Regional’s partners.
The Lufthansa Group’s regional manager for Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, and Armenia Rene Koinzack announced the promotion at a press conference in Kyiv on 16 June. The promotion commemorates Lufthansa’s 25 years of operations in Ukraine. However, the airline initially provided inaccurate information about the procedure for obtaining the promotional code, which led a number of potential passengers to as the CFTS for the correct information.
As reported, Lufthansa will perform 69 weekly flights to/from Ukraine in the summer and plans to transport 200,000 passengers over a period of six months.
