Qatar Airways, which began operating flights to Ukraine on August 28, does not intend to stop at one flight per day because the airline considers the Ukrainian market one of the most promising in Europe. This was announced by Qatar Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer Ehab Amin, АВСnews reports.

"We want to offer the Ukrainian passenger seamless flights (with a minimum hour-and-a-half connecting time) from Kyiv to Sydney and the Southeast Asian countries. For example, passengers on our flights can fly from Kyiv to Sydney in 20 hours and to Bangkok in 13 hours 55 minutes," he said.

"We are seeing great demand for eastern destinations. The company has high expectations for the Kyiv-Australia flight, for example. We plan to increase the frequency to two flights per day, and I think this volume can be reached quite quickly," he added.

In addition, according to him, Qatar Airways intends to cooperate with the Ukrainian airline UIA to provide the best connections in Kyiv for tourists from Odesa and other cities.

For now, flights between Doha and Kyiv will be operated daily. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, an Airbus A320 airliner will depart from Hamad Airport at 15:15, and land at the Boryspil airport at 20:55. The return flight will depart at 23:45 and arrive in Qatar at 05:55 the following day.

On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, the Qatar Airways flight will depart from Doha at 06:45 and arrive at the Boryspil airport at 12:25. The return flight will depart at 13:25 and arrive in Doha at 18:45.
