An EKr-1 Tarpan electric train manufactured by the Kryukov Railcar Building Works has arrived Przemysl (Poland), successfully completing the second test trip to the city by a Ukrainian high-speed train.

The CFTS portal reported this, citing a Facebook post by Karol Gajdzik, a representative of the linia102.pl railway group (Poland). The train arrived at the Przemysl station at 01:45, local time.

"Despite ice and a temperature of -8, waiting for the Tarpan railway miracle was worth it,” Gajdzik wrote. A video of the train’s arrival in Przemysl can be seen here.

As reported, commenting on the situation involving the test trips of Ukrainian high-speed trains on the Kyiv-Lviv-Przemysl route on 18 December evening, the Ukrainian parliamentary transport committee’s Chairman Yaroslav Dubnevych said: "Which of the two trains will perform trips to Poland from late of December will be determined based on the result of the technical trips."

As the CFTS earlier reported, a Hyundai train arrived in Przemysl in the early hours of 18 December. The train performed a test trip without passengers.
