Turkish Airlines will add three flights on the Kherson-Istanbul route in the summer, bringing the total number of its flights on the route to 10 per week. This was reported by avianews.com, citing the airline’s reservation system.

The airline will also switch its flights from afternoons to mornings and evenings from 26 March.

It will operate morning flights from Istanbul at 06:35 and from Kherson at 09:20 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Evening flights will depart from Istanbul at 19:55 and from Kherson at 22:35 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Turkish Airlines recently announced an increase in the number of its weekly flights from Istanbul to Lviv from three to five and the launch of daily flights from Istanbul to Kharkiv.

This became possible after October 2016, when Ukraine and Turkey agreed to lift restrictions on flights between Kyiv and Ankara, as well as to increase the quota for flights on other routes significantly.

Turkish Airlines was awarded all the additional Turkish quota of three weekly flights on the Istanbul-Kherson route.
