Turkish Airlines will launch flights to the Kharkiv airport on 30 March 2017. The carrier will fly from Istanbul and back four times a week, the Kharkiv airport said.

Until the end of May, flights on the Istanbul-Kharkiv-Istanbul route will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. The flights will be operated daily from 30 May.

The flights will be operated on a Boeing 737 or Airbus A320 aircraft with economy and business classes. Tickets have already gone on sale.

Turkish Airlines currently flies to Kyiv (the Boryspil airport), Lviv, Odesa, Kherson, and Zaporizhia. The airline is also considering the possibility of launching flights to Chernivtsi.
