Competitions for the positions of director of the state-owned Mykolaiv seaport and the state-owned Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi seaport will be held in the near future.

Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Dmytro Romenskyi, who chairs the Infrastructure Ministry’s competition commission, announced this on his Facebook page, the CFTS portal reports.

"The openness and transparency of competitive selection is the commission’s basic approach to selection of the most qualified and professional top managers for state-owned companies ... and we are looking for the very best…" Romenskyi wrote.

As reported, the Infrastructure Ministry completed a competition to fill the vacant post of director of the state-owned Oktiabrsk specialized seaport on 4 August.

A decision was made to appoint Ruslan Oliinik as the director of the port. Until then, he was the acting director of the port. According to the Ministry of Infrastructure, seven candidates submitted applications.
