Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will launch regular flights between Kyiv and Palanga, which is situated on the Baltic coast, on 19 June. It will be the second airport in Lithuania, after Vilnius, to which the Ukrainian carrier will fly, the press service of the airline announced.

Kyiv-Palanga-Kyiv flights will be performed twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. The flights will depart from Kyiv at 14:00 and from Palanga at 16:35. The flight duration will be 1 hour and 50 minutes. The airline will operate Boeing 737 and Embraer 190 aircraft on the route.

The prices of roundtrip economy-class tickets (including all fees and taxes) are as follows: from UAH 2,740 from Kyiv (may vary depending on exchange-rate fluctuations) and from EUR 87 from Palanga.

"Lithuania remains popular among our passengers, business travelers and tourists alike. This is specifically why we at UIA have decided to expand the range of resort offerings to our customers during the summer season. The first-class resorts of Palanga and Klaipeda have everything necessary for a perfect holiday," the airline’s corporate spokeswoman Yevhenia Satska said.
