Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will increase the number of its flights to Italy in the summer.

According to the company, the number of flights from Kyiv to Rome and Milan will increase to 11 and 10 per week, respectively.

UIA will also perform three weekly flights between Kyiv and Venice (on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) during the summer.

The program of direct international flights from regions of Ukraine includes the following routes: Lviv-Bologna (twice a week: from Lviv on Mondays and Thursdays and from Bologna on Tuesdays and Fridays); Lviv-Rome (from Lviv on Saturdays and from Rome on Sundays); Ivano-Frankivsk - Venice (Thursdays); Chernivtsi-Bergamo (twice a week: from Chernivtsi on Fridays and Sundays and from Bergamo on Mondays and Saturdays).

"This year, we in UIA have decided to broaden our geography and include a new point of departure (Chernivtsi) and a new destination (Bergamo) in our summer ‘Italian program.’ We are hoping that there will be demand for this destination and that it will justify itself from a commercial point of view," the UIA’s corporate press secretary Yevhenia Satska said.
