The Ukrtransgaz gas transport company has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the operators of the gas transmission systems of Greece (DESFA S.A.), Bulgaria (Bulgartransgaz EAD), and Romania (NGTC Transgaz S.A.), the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.

According to the press service of Ukrtransgaz, the signing of the memorandum was one of the outcomes of a meeting of the CESEC high-level working group on development of gas transport infrastructure in Central and South-Eastern Europe, which took place in Budapest.

"This document involves the agreement of an action plan for creation of a gas transport corridor between these countries, which will operate in two directions," the press service said.
