Ukraine has issued permits for transportation of transit goods by road, as well as for irregular transportation of transit passengers by road, in 2016 to Russia. The Russian Association of International Road Carriers (ASMAP) announced this in a statement.

"Permits for transportation of transit goods and irregular transportation of transit passengers in 2016 have been obtained from the Ukrainian side," the statement said.

The number of permits received was not specified.

ASMAP organizes the delivery of these permits to the issuing centers. "When planning transportation, it is necessary to first contact the issuing center to check whether the permits have arrived," the association said.
