Structural divisions of the Ukrainian Port Authority made 640 procurements of goods and services from the beginning of this year to 1 September. They concluded contracts worth a total of UAH 1.66 billion (including VAT), saving more than UAH 104 million (including VAT) or 5.9% compared with the expected value of the procurements, according to data disclosed by the Ministry of Infrastructure.

In total, 1,504 announcements of procurements worth a total of UAH 4.24 billion (including VAT) by the Ukrainian Port Authority have been published on the web portal of the authorized agency, including electronic exchanges, this year.

The Yuzhny port, a division of the Ukrainian Port Authority, concluded 120 contracts (19% of all the procurements made by the Ukrainian Port Authority), the Mariupol port 95 contracts (15%), the Chornomorsk port 76 contracts (12%), and the Delta Lotsman port 60 contracts (9%).

According to the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ukrainian Port Authority fully switched to making procurements through the ProZorro electronic auction platform on April 1. Taking only this electronic auction system into account, the Ukrainian Port Authority had saved UAH 11.3 million on procurements as of 12 September 12. In total, 539 procurements worth a total of UAH 762 million (including VAT) were announced on ProZorro.

Structural divisions of the Ukrainian Port Authority made 691 procurements worth a total of UAH 1.573 billion (including VAT) in 2015. Savings amounted to UAH 73.5 million or 4.46%.
