The Ukrposhta state postal agency will deliver parcels that Ukrainians purchase from Chinese internet shops on 11 November, which is “Singles' Day” in China (the Chinese version of the so-called “Black Friday”). Ukrposhta’s First Deputy General Director Oleksandr Pertsovskyi announced this in an interview to the CFTS portal.

"11 November is ‘Singles' Day’ in China. It is the Chinese version of ‘Black Friday.’ Alibaba is organizing a massive sale on that day. In 2015, the volume of sales on that day alone totaled more than USD 14 billion. Ukrainians also buy goods from Alibaba, mainly through the AliExpress platform. I want to tell our clients, "Buy and we will deliver!" We will launch a marketing campaign with Alibaba in the coming days and we are also preparing to operationally ‘digest’ peak volumes," Pertsovskyi said.

According to him, Ukrposhta will deliver Ukrainians’ parcels if they chose the standard method of delivery.

"If a buyer chooses standard delivery when choosing the delivery method, then the majority of parcels come to us through our partners – the postal services of China, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Netherlands, and Estonia," he said.
