The Production Support Center, a division of the Ukrainian Railways public joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia), has invited tenders for supply of 250 railcar lavatories at the expected total cost of UAH 270 million, including VAT.
Applications to participate in the tender will be accepted until 10:00 on May 4. The tender will take place at 13:10 on June 9.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, Ukrzaliznytsia’s Board Chairman Wojciech Balczun has said that the company intends to improve the standards of toilets in passenger trains. Ukrzaliznytsia also wants to install power outlets at train depots for heating railcars in winter and cooling them in the summer.
