The United States has offered to assist Ukraine in finding professional directors, including directors for key state companies. The relevant issue was discussed at a meeting between Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Aivaras Abromavicius, Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko, and US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development of Ukraine announced in a statement.

"To accelerate the reform of state enterprises, the American side offered assistance in finding professional directors, including directors for key state companies," Abromavicius is quoted as saying in the statement.

In addition, the two sides discussed the development of trade between the two countries, including lifting of United States anti-dumping sanctions on Ukrainian chemical and steel products. In addition, Ukraine intends to seek expert assistance from the United States on its trade disputes with Russia within the framework of the World Trade Organization.

The two sides agreed on a possible to Ukraine by a large delegation of American industrialists and businesspeople. No date was specified for the possible visit.
