Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has begun selling tickets for flights on the Vinnytsia-Kyiv (Boryspil) route, and the flights will begin on March 26, 2018. The relevant information has appeared in UIA’s online booking system, the CFTS reports.

Embraer 145 aircraft will be used for the flights. The length of the route is only 200 kilometers, and the travel time is 55 minutes. The flights will be operated daily. Departure from Vinnytsia will be at 07:25 and departure from Kyiv at 20:20.

According to UIA’s online booking system, the price of a ticket from Vinnytsia to Kyiv is UAH 699 and the price of a ticket in the opposite direction is UAH 666.

Vinnytsia currently has no air links with Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities. The Vinnytsia airport handles only seasonal international flights to Warsaw and Tel Aviv, as well as charter flights to Turkey and Egypt.

The cost of a Vinnytsia-Kyiv ticket on an Intercity train is about UAH 200, and the travel time is 2 hours 13 minutes.

The LOT airline (Poland) announced plans to launch flights to Vinnytsia, Dnipro, and Ivano-Frankivsk in October.

Vinnytsia and the Ministry of Defense recently signed a memorandum on joint operation of the airport, which opens the way for reconstruction of the airport next year.
