The Wizz Air low-cost airline will launch two new routes from Ukraine – to Lisbon (Portugal) and Tallinn (Estonia) – in April 2018. The Kyiv-Lisbon flight will be the only direct flight between the capitals of Ukraine and Portugal.

According to the airline company, tickets for flights to Portugal went on sale on the wizzair.com website on July 12 at prices starting from UAH 1,149 for one-way tickets, including all taxes and fees. It is worth noting that the cost of a one-way ticket for flights scheduled for May and June currently starts at UAH 1,769 on the company's website.

The cost of a ticket for a Kyiv-Tallinn flight starts at UAH 1,479 on the carrier's website.

The low-cost airline will also increase the frequency of its flights to the most popular destinations: 11 additional flights per week will be introduced in the company’s summer timetable from the Kyiv (Zhulyany) airport in 2018.

It will also add one flight per week to Bratislava, Copenhagen, and Dortmund, as well as two flights per week to Cologne, Memmingen, Larnaca, and Hanover.

Wizz Air published its 2018 summer timetable for Kyiv together with this announcement. Tickets will be available exclusively to members of the Wizz Discount Club over the next two weeks and to everyone from July 26, 2017. 

As reported, the Ukrainian airline Dart has announced its intention to launch flights between Kyiv and Lisbon from the Zhulyany airport.
