The Ukrainian airline, Yanair, has begun selling tickets for Odesa-Krakow-Odesa flights. The cost of a one-way ticket starts from UAH 1,391.26, the CFTS reports.

Flights will begin on May 22. They will be performed twice a week: on Tuesdays and Fridays. Yanair airplanes will depart from Odesa at 08:55 and land in Krakow at 10:55. The return flight will depart at 11:30 and land in Odesa at 13:30.

The airline will add a third flight on July 15. It will be an evening flight operated on Sundays. It will depart from Odesa at 17:30 and land in Krakow at 19:30. The return flight will depart at 20:05 and land in Odesa at 22:05.

Yanair was granted permission to fly on the Odesa-Krakow-Odesa route in late January this year.

Yanair will become the second Ukrainian airline to fly to Krakow. UIA performed the first flight to Krakow from Kyiv (the Boryspil airport) in late December 2017. It initially operated six flights per week and began operating daily flights on January 8.

Krakow Airport is the second largest airport in Poland in terms of passenger traffic. The airport handled more than 5.8 million passengers in 2017. The airport authority plans to increase passenger traffic to 12 million by 2036. This plan requires capital investments of EUR 235 million in development of the airport’s infrastructure.
