Two ships loaded with 82,000 tons of agricultural products left the port of Pivdennyi on Thursday, 20 October, under the Black Sea Grain Initiative that established a humanitarian maritime corridor to allow ships to export grain and other foodstuffs from Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

In particular, the Atlantis Almeria tanker and the Aris T bulk carrier left the port on Thursday.

They are transporting agricultural products to countries in Asia and Europe.

According to the statement, 8 million tons of agricultural products have already been exported from Ukrainian seaports since the departure of the first vessel carrying Ukrainian grain.

"A total of 362 ships transporting food to countries in Asia, Europe, and Africa have left Ukrainian ports," the statement said.
