This was announced by Ukraine’s Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Solskyi, the CFTS portal reports.

"We are actively working to increase logistics through the western borders. This month, we expect the export of about 2 million tons of grain that has already gone through the new logistics routes – which are Poland, Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia – and there is potential for an increase. More than 20 companies are planning to build or have already begun building transshipment facilities in these zones," the minister said.

As reported, Solskyi previously stated that complexes that will simplify logistical solutions for grain transshipment should be installed on the western border of Ukraine. Additional capacities of at least 6-8 million tons are needed in the near future. According to the minister, grain transshipment complexes and plots for their construction near the border will be offered to businesses on favorable financing terms within 1-2 months.
