The volume of passenger traffic at the Donetsk international airport increased by more than 11% to 1.11 million in 2013 compared with the previous year, the press service of the airport has announced.
Of the total number of passengers handled by the airport, 75% were international and the others were domestic.
The share of international flights was 59% and the share of domestic flights was 41%.
The three leading airline companies in terms of the number of passengers transported in 2013 were Ukraine International Airlines, UTair-Ukraine, and Aeroflot.
