Acting Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul’s instruction to the Ministry of Infrastructure, the State Railway Administration (Ukrzaliznytsia), and the State Automobile Road Service (Ukravtodor) to suspend all payments except wages has not affect the sale and return of train tickets, the CFTS reports.

"Sale and return tickets are taking place in accordance with the active legislation," the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia told the Center for Transport Strategies.

The state-owned Boryspil International Airport continues to operate normally.

"Officially, we have not received this instruction of the acting deputy prime minister,” a source in the industry told the Center for Transport Strategies. According to him, freezing the aviation company’s payments could jeopardize flight safety.
