The State Property Fund (SPF) has returned the report on the valuation of the assets of the Yuzhny Commercial Seaport (Odessa region) to the appraiser, Deloitte, with its remarks. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Yurii Vaskov, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.

"The fund has made its remarks and returned the report to the appraiser, and the appraiser is working on it," he said in Kiev on Thursday, 1 October, after a roundtable at the European Business Association, which was dedicated to tariffs for access of port operators to the berth managed by the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine.

The State Property Fund declared the company Deloitte & Touche (Deloitte) as the winner of the competition to appraise the assets of the Yuzhny port at the end of January 2015.

It was reported that the net book value of the port’s fixed assets, facilities under construction, long-term financial investments, and intangible assets were as follows as of 30 September 2014: fixed assets UAH 1.489 billion, intangible assets UAH 30.881 million, and facilities under construction UAH 21.632 million.

The area of its land is 189,869 hectares.
