Ukraine can export 65-70 million tons of grain and oil crops in the current fiscal year, including 22 million tons from last year's harvest and 38-43 million tons from this year's harvest. Domestic consumption in Ukraine is about 20 million tons.

Ukraine’s First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotskyi announced this, the CFTS portal reports.

According to him, the current goal is to export 5-6 million tons of agricultural products per month, as was the case before the start of a full-scale war.

Among the main problems currently facing Ukrainian agricultural producers are the increase in the cost of production and rather expensive logistics, Vysotskyi said.

The first deputy minister also said that almost 25 million tons of the new grain crop have been harvested from 60% of the sown areas.

More than 19 million tons of wheat, 5.5 million tons of barley, and about 3 million tons of rapeseed have been harvested.

As reported earlier, Ukraine exported 4.6 million tons of agricultural products in August. This is 53% more than it exported in July.
