The Ukrainian car-sharing company Getmancar has launched car rental services in Germany and Romania. Customers can rent vehicles by the day and drive to all parts of the European Union.
Getmancar announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
In Germany, the service is available in three cities: Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, and Munich. In Germany, the service is available in three cities: Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, and Munich. At launch, the company will offer a fleet of up to 50 cars. Customers can also rent cargo vans.
In Germany, the car rental rate starts at USD 28.55 per day.
In Romania, Getmancar simultaneously launched car rental services in five cities: Bucharest, Constanța, Brașov, Baia Mare, and Sibiu.
The Romanian fleet consists of about 200 cars. Rates in Romania start at USD 35.10 per day.
In general, the rates in both countries vary based on vehicle model and rental duration.
"We decided to enter these markets because of strategic partnerships and people who can facilitate local development," said Getmancar CEO Taras Hetmanskyi.
Unlike its car-sharing model in Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia, the company operates in Germany and Romania based on the traditional car rental model.
Another feature is that customers can drive rented vehicles throughout the European Union.
If a customer returns a vehicle to the same city where it was rented, no additional fee is charged. Customers can leave vehicles in other cities in Romania or Germany for an additional fee.
