The Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) has announced that it has received equipment for quickly restoring bridges and railway infrastructure from Network Rail Infrastructure Limited (Britain), the CFTS portal reports.

"We are talking about the equipment that is currently needed for the rapid restoration of bridges and railway infrastructure: 45 containers of the Acrow 700XS Rail bridging system, supports, tunnel linings, and tools," Ukrzaliznytsia said in a statement.

According to the statement, Ukrainian railway workers underwent training on the operation of the Acrow 700XS Rail bridging g system in January.

In total, the British company will donate equipment worth almost GBP 10 million to Ukrzaliznytsia.

"Thanks to our partners, we continue to repair the railway infrastructure promptly," Ukrzaliznytsia said.
