Three temporary crossings have been built on the right bank of the liberated Kherson region.

The State Road Agency (Ukravtodor) announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

"Since the liberation, we have ensured passage through three destroyed bridges to connect some population centers and provide transport links for rapid delivery of humanitarian aid and food," the statement said.

The aftermath of the fighting in the region is being cleared from some of the international highways and streets in the region. In total, 190 kilometers have already been cleared.

Road construction workers are removing garbage, clearing soil from road surfaces, dismantling damaged barrier fences, repairing potholes, and dismantling the structures of blown-up bridges.

As of 5 December, 38 contract workers and 33 pieces of road equipment were involved in these works.

Because the region is mined heavily, road workers are moving slowly and only after careful de-mining operations by explosives experts.
