Kharkiv's transport infrastructure has sustained extensive damage as a result of the Russian occupiers' attacks. In particular, 70% of Kharkiv’s city buses, 50% of its trams, and over 25% of its trolleybuses have been destroyed.

Kharkiv’s Mayor Ihor Terekhov announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

According to him, 35 kilometers of the overhead trolley wires and almost half of all the roads in Kharkiv have been damaged.

"Despite the huge losses and damage, traffic in the city has not stopped even in the worst of times in the past year and a half: public transport has been running and damaged roads have been repaired. We will gradually rebuild everything destroyed by the enemy," he added.
