Passenger traffic through airports in continental Ukraine reduced by 22.5% to 10.8 million in 2014, compared with 2013.

According to data from the State Aviation Service, the number of passengers on international routes reduced by 20% to 9.57 million and the number of passengers on domestic routes by 38.5% to 1.296 million during this period.

In particular, the number of passengers handled by the Boryspil airport reduced by 13% to 6.89 million.

Passenger traffic through Kyiv’s second airport – the Zhulyany airport – reduced by 40.7% to 1.092 million.

Passenger traffic through the Odessa airport reduced by 19.2% to 863,900.

Passenger traffic through the Lvov airport reduced by 16.5% to 585,200.

Passenger traffic through the Dnepropetrovsk airport reduced by 1.8% to 446,800.

Passenger traffic through the Kharkov airport reduced by 27.7% to 437,500.
