The Production Support Center, a division of the Ukrainian Railways public joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia), completed a tender for supply of rough wheel tires for rolling stock worth a total of UAH 74.2 million on June 6.
According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the winners of the tender are Interpipe Ukraine (Ukraine) and Huta Bankowa Spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością (Poland).
The tender, which consisted of five separate lots, was held in the ProZorro electronic public procurement system.
Interpipe Ukraine will supply wheel tires worth almost UAH 60 million to Ukrzaliznytsia and the Polish company UAH 13.7 million.
In total, both companies will supply more than 4,600 wheel tires to Ukrzaliznytsia by the end of this year.
