Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced on 1 November that a train made up of railcars donated by Warsaw (Poland) is already running on the Kyiv subway’s “green” line, the CFTS portal reports.
In total, the Polish capital has donated 60 subway cars to Kyiv.
"Experts at the Kyiv subway are conducting all the necessary inspections of the subway cars. Some of them will be added to the Kyiv subway’s rolling stock and some will be used as donors of spare parts for overhauling Kyiv subway cars," Klitschko said.
