Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will start operating direct flights between Vinnytsia and Tel Aviv once a week on 8 June, avianews.com reports, citing data from the ticket booking system.

According to the timetable, the flights will depart from Vinnytsia at 05:40 on Thursdays and from Tel Aviv at 23:15 on Wednesdays.

UIA will operate its aircraft on a relay on this route: an aircraft will arrive in Tel Aviv from Ukraine, fly to Vinnytsia, return to Tel Aviv, and then fly to one of the Ukrainian cities that already receive regular flights from Tel Aviv.

On the Vinnytsia-Tel Aviv route, the UIA intends to sell tickets at prices that include only hand luggage. A return flight on the new route without baggage will cost about UAH 5,000, including the relevant charges.

The Yanair airline tried to launch regular flights on the Vinnytsia-Tel Aviv route in late 2013, but its planes flew to Israel only a few times.
