Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko believes that 260-290 An-132 aircraft can be sold in the next 20 years. Poroshenko announced this during the presentation of the An-132 aircraft at the Antonov serial production plant in Kyiv, the CFTS correspondent reports.

"I want to thank our partners from Canada, the United States, Britain, Germany, France, and other countries. The An-132 platform is based on the best technologies. We are confident that the potential market for the An-132 is 260-290 aircraft by the year 2035," said Poroshenko.

As reported, the An-132 aircraft was assembled over a period of about one year. Foreign-made equipment is installed on the aircraft: electronics from Honeywell International (United), an integrated air system from Liebherr-Aerospace Toulouse SAS (France), screws by Dowty Propellers (United Kingdom), auxiliary power units by Hamilton Sundstrand (United States), and engines by Pratt & Whitney (Canada).
