The Ukrainian Railways public joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) has begun developing a new autumn/winter uniform for employees of its passenger division. Ukrzaliznytsia’s acting Board Chairman Yevhen Kravtsov announced this on Twitter.

As reported, the passenger services of all regional railways were merged on July 1 to create a new passenger company. This was announced by Ukrzaliznytsia’s director of passenger transportation and service Ihor Romankiv.

The management structure will be divided into repair, operational, and commercial units before the end of 2017. In the fifth and final stage, the division will transform into an independent company (a private joint-stock company called “Passenger Company") by 2020.

Kravtsov recently announced that Ukrzaliznytsia would introduce full meals on passenger night trains in November 2017.
