Infrastructure Ministry Considering Creating ‘Grand Arc’ Water Corridor

The Ministry of Infrastructure is considering the possibility of creating a new river corridor called the "Grand Arc."

Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelian announced this on 25 October during the "New Transit Strategy" forum, which was organized by the Ukrainian Association of GR Professionals and Lobbyists, the CFTS correspondent reports.

"The river’s potential is enormous. Currently, we are seriously considering the so-called ‘Grand Arc’ concept. We will connect River Dnipro through the Black Sea and River Danube. This project has already been supported by the German embassy," the minister said.

He did not disclose details of the project.
