A competition for the post of director of the Boryspil airport will start in September. Minister of Infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian announced this during a coordination conference on work with financial donors, the CFTS correspondent reports.

"I am very pleased that we will announce [a competition for the post of] head of the Boryspil airport in September. We also hope to get a decent professional in the industry," the minister said.

The previous competition for the post of director of the Boryspil airport was held in 2015. Yurii Solonchuk, the former head of the Ukraina state aircraft enterprise, won that competition. However, result of the competition was challenged in court. Yevhen Dykhne has been the acting director of the Boryspil airport since September 2014.

Tetiana Romanovska won the competition for the post of director of the Lviv airport in December last year. She was approved in the post in February this year.
