Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has added a new aircraft to its fleet. The aircraft with the onboard number UR-PSW landed at the Boryspil airport in late on 4 April, having flown directly from the Boeing plant in Seattle (United States).

The Boeing 737-800NG aircraft became the 39th in the airline’s fleet. The airliner has 186 seats and a two-class layout. UIA will begin operating flights with the airliner in early April, the CFTS reports, citing information from the airline.

According to Ukraine International Airlines, the average age of the aircraft in its fleet is now 12.1 years. The airline plans to add three more aircraft to its fleet and decommission two Boeing 737-500s in 2017.

UIA will add another new Boeing 737-800 to its fleet directly in November this year.

UIA took delivery of a 186-seat Boeing 737-800 NG airliner manufactured in 2009 in January.
