The largest amount of Kyiv budget funds (UAH 3.6 billion) will be allocated for implementing transport, transport infrastructure, and road management projects under the 2021-2023 Program for Economic and Social Development of Kyiv.

The Kyiv municipal administration announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

"In 2023, the implementation of the program will focus on measures to ensure proper operation of transport engineering and critical infrastructure, as well as on the reconstruction of the city’s residential, social, and transport engineering infrastructure that was destroyed by the enemy’s insidious attacks," the statement said.

The Kyiv City Council adopted the relevant amendments to the 2021-2023 Program for Economic and Social Development of Kyiv.

In terms of distribution by sector, the largest amount of city budget funds (UAH 3.6 billion) will be spent on the implementation of transport, transport infrastructure, and road management projects.

"The reconstruction and construction work on sections of the Kyiv Ring Road, the reconstruction of the Shuliavskyi overpass, and the development of the city subway will continue in the capital city in 2023," the Kyiv municipal administration said.
