1068 (1) The export of products accounts for almost 83% of the Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe's sales. Oleksandr Harkavyi, director of Interpipe's Railway Products Division, announced this during a panel discussion at "Ukraine House Davos" at the World Economic Forum.

According to Harkavyi, Europe is currently the company's home market, with nearly 50% of the Ukrainian manufacturer's products shipped there, the CFTS portal reports. "If you look at our customers, they include railcar manufacturing giants such as Siemens, Alstom, Greenbrier, and Tatravagonka. Practically, all major railway operators work with us. We can supply them with our products, and we do," said Harkavyi.

According to him, every second or third wheel on freight cars in Europe today is made by this industrial company.

Harkavyi took part in the panel discussion "Leadership, Competitiveness, Sustainability: Success Stories of Ukraine's Leading Investors and Enterprises" at "Ukraine House Davos." The panel discussion focused on the achievements of companies investing in Ukraine during the war, as well as on plans for near-term expansion and post-war ambitions.

"The war should end as soon as possible, but we cannot afford to stop investing," said Harkavyi. "Our customers are private companies in the European Union and the United States. They have a demand for new, more technologically advanced products. Therefore, we have to adapt ourselves and our products."

During the war, Interpipe invested tens of millions of U.S. dollars in a project at a pipe plant in Nikopol, which is officially recognized as a war zone because the city is located 7 kilometers from occupied Enerhodar.

Interpipe is proving that it can deliver high-quality products to the European market on time, said Harkavyi. "Believe in us, believe in Ukrainian companies, and believe in Ukraine," he added.
