Oleksandr Tkachuk, the director of Terminal Network Development at the Levada Cargo freight forwarding company (part of the Lemtrans Group), has discussed the prospects for a new infrastructure project (a container terminal in Fastiv) at the economic forum "Platform for Development."

Lemtrans announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

"The terminal in Fastiv will become a strategic link in the development of transport logistics in the region," Tkachuk said.

According to him, the project will make it possible to optimize logistics chains, expand export opportunities for Ukrainian producers, and create conditions for integrating local businesses into global trade.

In early 2023, it was reported that Lemtrans was considering opening two more container terminals after the launch of the Mostyska terminal. In particular, the media quoted Lemtrans CEO Volodymyr Mezentsev as saying that, in addition to Vinnytsia, a terminal with a capacity of 80,000 TEU could be built in Fastiv.
