Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has announced the appointment of Luca Zanotti as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Andriy Korotkov will continue his work in Ukraine as the company's Chief Operating Officer, the CFTS portal reports.
"We are grateful to Andrii Korotkov for his unwavering leadership in guiding the company through an extremely challenging period in Ukraine following Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022. His dedication, experience, and resilience have played an important role, and he will continue to make efforts to strengthen, grow, and develop the company," said Fadi Hraibi, Chairman of Interpipe’s Board of Directors.
He welcomed Zanotti as the company’s new CEO. "His extensive experience in the pipe industry and deep knowledge of key international markets will be a significant advantage. We are confident that under his leadership, the company will continue to transform its position in the industry and accelerate its growth," Hraibi said.
For his part, Zanotti said he was honored to take up the position. "Interpipe has consistently demonstrated resilience, competitiveness, and strong potential. Most impressive is the strength and determination of its people, who continue to develop and promote the company despite the extraordinary challenges caused by the war. I look forward to working closely with the team to drive further growth for the benefit of the company, its employees, and local communities," he said.
Before joining Interpipe, Zanotti served as president of Tenaris USA from 2018 and was vice president of the company from 2015. He joined Tenaris in 2011 as president for Europe. Before that, Zanotti worked in procurement, management consulting, and business development in Europe, South America, and Southeast Asia. He began his career as an officer in the Italian army. Zanotti, an Italian citizen, holds a master's degree in electronic engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an MBA from SDA Bocconi.
Interpipe is a Ukrainian industrial company that manufactures steel pipes and railway products. It delivers products to more than 50 countries through a network of sales offices in key markets in the Middle East, North America, and Europe. In 2024, Interpipe sold 511,000 tons of pipe products and 115,000 tons of railway products, the latter of which were sold under the KLW brand.
Interpipe employs approximately 9,500 people, including 1,070 employees currently serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other security agencies. In 2024, the company contributed a record UAH 5.5 billion in taxes and fees to state and local budgets.
