Ernest Airlines, an Italian low-cost airline, has unveiled the preliminary timetable for new flights to Lviv from the Milan-Malpensa and Rome airports. Flights to these destinations will start on June 22, and they will be performed three times a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays). Ernest Airlines’ Commercial Director Ilza Xhelo announced this at Borsa Internazionale del Turismo, an international tourism exhibition and fair, the CFTS reports.

"We will launch three new routes: from Milan-Malpensa and Rome-Fiumicino to Lviv and from Bologna to Kyiv, which will be added to the five existing Ukrainian destinations," she said. According to her, flights to the new destinations will be operated year-round.

The airline’s Airbus 320 aircraft will depart from Milan-Malpensa at 17:40 on Mondays and Wednesdays and land in Lviv at 20:40. The return flight will depart at 21:25 and land in Milan at 22:30. Times will be moved forward by 10 minutes on Fridays.

Its Airbus 319 aircraft will depart from Lviv at 14:10 on Mondays and land at the Rome-Fiumicino airport at 15:30. The return flight will depart at 16:10 and land in Lviv at 19:30. The departure and landing times will be moved forward by 10 minutes on Wednesdays and moved backward by 10 minutes on Fridays.

According to the Lviv airport, the flight timetable may be adjusted because the negotiations on the flight timetable have not yet been concluded. Tickets to the new destinations are not yet on sale. According to the airline, tickets will go on sale in the coming days.

As reported, Ernest Airline will launch flights from the Kyiv Zhulyany airport to Bologna on June 23. The flights will be operated twice a week (on Thursdays and Saturdays).
