Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe is mastering the production of niche pipe products for the EU market. In particular, the company has mastered the production of pipes for manufacturing truck axles.
The company announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
"Over 200 new pipe products have resulted from the work of the Interpipe industrial company’s Ukrainian engineers over the past 2 years on the European market, where there are many niches and unique requests of buyers," the statement said.
According to the statement, this has allowed the company to find new customers in areas such as the production of micropiles, fittings and bends, and even mobile cranes.
The company added that one of the significant challenges was the development of a new product: pipes for the production of automobile axles. Research work on this project began last year, when 14 pilot rolls were produced.
"This year, Interpipe has already established itself among a small group of manufacturers of such products. We currently supply the two largest producers with tubes that, after being cut to length and shot-blasted, are assembled into axles for trailers and semi-trailers for trucks, and we are also mastering the specifications for a third customer," Interpipe said.
