The Kyiv municipal administration’s head Oleksandr Popov has signed a directive approving a project for reconstruction of the tramline on Dmytrievska Street (Shevchenkivskyi district), the press service of the Kyiv municipal administration has announced.
Under the project, the reconstruction work will be performed in two phases over a period of eight months. It will involve reconstruction of 3.6 kilometers of tramline and a catenary system, construction of 1,470 square meters of waiting areas at tram stops, and installation of seven pavilions at tram stops.
The total cost of the reconstruction project is about UAH 71 million.
According to the directive, an agreement guaranteeing the quality of the work will be signed with the contractor that will perform the construction work and a guaranteed period of operation of the facility will be established.
