The first container ship operated by Medkon Lines has docked at the port of Odesa after a long break.
Medkon Lines announced this in a statement on its LinkedIn page, the CFTS portal reports.
The container ship operates on the Istanbul-Gebze-Odesa line.
According to the company's schedule, the container ships T Moon and Medkon KRM are servicing the route to Ukraine.
The Turkish company's plans to return to the Ukrainian market were announced in December last year.
"As Medkon Lines, we will continue to maintain our strong ties with Ukraine in the maritime transport industry and provide reliable logistics solutions," the company said.
Medkon Lines has been operating in the sea and land transport industry for over 15 years, specializing in container liner shipping, feeder container shipping, coastal shipping, and more. The Turkish company operates 23 vessels and has a 35,000-TEU container fleet.
